The destination of this tours is my health.

How does it work? Imagine a diseased person, literally burnt out inside by chemotherapy – muscle tissue, bones, veins, skin, hair, organs, every particle of the body half-dead. It’s difficult to move around and simply live. Limits and barriers grow on every side. Life goes on but what kind of life is it? So what could one in this state dream about except health? Nothing else but health. Only then does one appreciate health, strength, vitality and the joy of life, the moment that life is lost. Money and material possessions do not count any more. You just dream about returning to your active lifestyle.

So when the idea of a cycling tour from England to Poland hit me, I didn’t care a damn that I wouldn’t manage, it was too far away, the idea was crackpot. I want to stress that it came to me while I was still receiving chemo. I reckon there is nothing like being ill and dreaming about a gruelling tour that only a very healthy person could stand.  I felt surges of energy and strength just imagining this journey, I felt my heart beat more strongly and I knew I had to fight. I dreamt about nothing else but getting on my bike and setting off.

I do believe your dreams come true. If you wish something very much, you can get it. And you can beat cancer, too.
