We make this day another 50 miles. The wind was generally with us, but cycling with extra 50 kilos is not so easy… We found few pretty old churches and cementarys.
First day
•July 14, 2009 • Comments Off on First dayWe started late becouse of rain, about 10:30 AM. Here you can see our today trip: http://pathtracks.com/users/19026/paths/82570 . This is not all what we cycle today. Some data at the begining are lost. Yes we made almost 50 miles! I know we are crazy a bit 😉
We didn’t make many pictures and videos becouse of awfull traffic and late start.
preparation to first trip
•July 12, 2009 • Comments Off on preparation to first tripMy bike was almost ready to ride, but my brother’s bike still needed to be serviced. So we started the preparation and found that the frame was seriously cracked. The bike was bought via ebay just for this trip and described as in excellent condition… So we decided to buy new bike. At this point I must say ‘thanks’ to Robin from Evans Cycles in Chiswick. With his help and discount we can ride on the Monday. Now I have ever more respect for my old bike.
